Regulatorische Möglichkeiten einer Installierung von Patientenlotsen im Sozialleistungssystem und Einschätzungen zur gesetzgeberischen Umsetzung

This report for the Stiftung Deutsche Schlaganfall-Hilfe (German Stroke Foundation) deals with the various regulatory options for installing patient guides in the social security system and provides estimates for legislative implementation. The main part of the report deals with the situations that trigger the need, the content of the services, the addressees, the provision of an infrastructure of patient guides, financing issues, and the qualifications of the patient guides. The focus is on the organization of the provision of services by patient guides. Questions of cooperation between different service providers, including cooperation between local authorities and social service providers, are also discussed.
