This course gives a non-technical introduction into econometric techniques used in modern health economics. Emphasis is on applied work, illustrating the use of relevant computer software (Stata) applied to large scale micro data sets such as the SOEP or SHARE. The course assumes basic familiarity with principles of statistical inference (estimation and testing) in the linear regression model.
