Research results are published in numerous books and journals by the scientists of the Department of Foreign and International Social Law. Moreover, the Institute publishes its own series:
The publication series Studien aus dem Max-Planck-Institut für Sozialrecht und Sozialpolitik contains studies on a wide range of social law issues, including many dissertations written at the Institute.
The Zeitschrift für ausländisches und internationales Arbeits- und Sozialrecht (ZIAS), a journal on foreign and international labour and social law, is published twice a year and reports on new research results, sometimes in thematic clusters.
Edited by the founding director of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Hans F. Zacher, the Schriftenreihe für internationales und vergleichendes Sozialrecht, a publication series on international and comparative social law, deals with the challenges of social security at national and international level.
The publication series Schriften zum Sozialrecht emerged in 2012 from the Schriften zum deutschen und europäischen Sozialrecht, i.e. writings on German and European social law, and is edited by a large group of German social law scholars. It has developed into one of the leading publication series for social law monographs in Germany.
