The library is open to external visitors
Mondays – Thursdays 8.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.
Fridays 8.00 a.m. – 2.30 p.m.
The library of the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy is a reference library. Extramural loan is not possible.
Visitors with a scientific interest are requested to register with the library management and to sign the visitors’ book in the reading room.
Prior to their first use of the library, new staff and guest researchers need to apply to the head librarian for a brief introduction.
Our staff will be happy to help should you have queries regarding the use of the library or the online catalogue and database. Please understand that we cannot send out bibliographic records or deliver copies of articles.
